Templates are everywhere, and they are fast. You pick one, swap the colors, drop in your logo, and you are live by lunch. I get the appeal.
But a template is built for the average of a thousand businesses, so it fits none of them well. You end up shaping your brand to fit the layout instead of the layout fitting your brand.
What building from scratch actually means
When I build your site, every section starts from your brand and what you need it to do. The structure follows your story, not a demo's. The spacing, the type, the little bits of motion, they all come from one place instead of a theme someone else designed.
It also means nothing extra is along for the ride. No bloated builder, no twelve plugins you never asked for, no settings panel you have to fight. Just the site, built clean.
Is it worth it?
If you want something quick and disposable, a template is fine. If you want a site that feels like you and holds up as you grow, it is worth building properly. That is the part I love. 🐾
