Animal brands are my favorite to work on. Dog trainers, pet hotels, rescues, vets. The people behind them care deeply, and their customers come in feeling something, sometimes worry, sometimes love, often both.
That feeling is the thing to design for.
Warmth and trust at the same time
A site for an anxious dog owner has two jobs. It has to feel warm enough that they relax, and solid enough that they believe you know what you are doing. Lean too cute and it reads as not serious. Lean too clinical and it feels cold.
The trick is small and steady choices. Soft color, calm spacing, plain language, real photos over stock. Nothing shouting.
Let the animals lead
The animals are why people are there, so I give them room. Big, honest imagery. Copy that talks to the owner like a person. A little personality so the site feels alive without trying too hard.
If you run an animal brand and your site does not feel like you yet, that is the kind of work I love most. 🐾
